Thomas stands between the posts to guard the goal. The defensive unit operates as a flat back four to maintain compactness while waiting to engage the opposition. Bode and Viktor act as full backs, with Bode providing width on the right while Viktor covers the left flank. In the center, Brayan and Brayan form the partnership tasked with defending the box and winning the second ball. They must stay disciplined to prevent the opposition from playing through the middle, especially when the team pushes high up the pitch.

The midfield relies on a double pivot to manage the center of the pitch. Matty and Daniel operate in the central areas, tasked with shielding the defense and recycling possession to the wider areas. Dante tends to cut inside to create space, while Wikelman stays wide to provide width. Prince and Daniel lead the line as a two man forward partnership. Prince works to find the feet of the striker and link up play, while Daniel looks to run in behind the defense to score. The front four press from the front to force long balls from the opposition.

This formation provides significant attacking power and allows for quick transitions when the ball is won high up the pitch. The double pivot of Matty and Daniel provides a layer of protection that allows the full backs and wingers to push forward. By using four attackers, Indy Eleven can create many one on one situations out wide and force the opposition back into a deep block.
