SALIM (HERNÁNDEZ) · RAFAEL (FERNÁNDEZ) · PABLO (ORTIZ) · ALEJANDRO (GÓMEZ) · ALEJANDRO (MAGALLÓN) · ÁNGEL (ZAPATA) · FRANK (BOYA) · ALDAHIR (PÉREZ) · YAEL (PADILLA) · FRANCISCO (GONZÁLEZ) · DIEGO (ABREU)Tijuana relies on a heavy high press and vertical attacking intent using a 4-3-3. This formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and quickly move it toward the opposition goal. The lineup aims to stretch the defence by using wide players and constant movement to create gaps in the middle.
Salim sits between the posts to command the area during defensive transitions. The back line functions as a flat back four where Pablo acts as an attacking full back to provide width on the left. On the right, Rafael works to overlap the winger and support the flank. The central defenders, Alejandro and Alejandro, are tasked to defend zonally and cover the space behind the advancing full backs. They must win the second ball and remain compact to prevent any through balls from reaching the striker.
The midfield operates with a three man midfield with a carrier to bridge the gap between lines. Frank works to drive forward with the ball and connect the defence to the attack. Beside him, ÁNGEL helps to press aggressively to win the ball high and squeeze the space in the middle. Aldahir plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to find the feet of the attackers and arrive late into the box. This unit works to recycle possession and ensure the team maintains control when playing out from the back.
Tijuana uses three attackers across the front to pin the last defender. Yael and Francisco act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to spread the play wide. Both players are prepared to cut inside and shoot or deliver early balls into the box. Diego operates as a pressing centre-forward to lead the line and harass the opposition centre backs. The attack is designed to create runs in behind and use combinations to break the line of the opposition defence.
This formation offers the ability to press high in coordinated waves which forces the opponent into mistakes. Tijuana can also create wide overloads from overlapping full backs to overwhelm the opposition flanks. The setup allows for quick transitions once the midfield wins the ball back high up the pitch.
This 4-3-3 formation prioritizes aggressive pressing and rapid forward movement. It is best suited for matches where the team needs to dominate the ball and force the opponent into a deep block.
