Starting Lineup

ÓSCAR (GARCÍA) · IVÁN (MORENO) · JHOHAN (ROMAÑA) · VALENTÍN (GAUTHIER) · SALVADOR (REYES) · SANTIAGO (COLOMBATTO) · RODRIGO (ECHEVERRÍA) · FERNANDO (BELTRÁN) · JUAN (DOMÍNGUEZ) · ISMAEL (DÍAZ) · DÍBER (CAMBINDO)

León relies on a high press and quick verticality through a 4-3-3. This formation is built to hunt the ball high up the pitch and punish opponents through rapid transitions. By staying compact and aggressive, León looks to win the ball in the final third and push forward immediately to catch the opposition out of position.

ÓSCAR starts between the posts to organize the defensive line. The back four operates as a zonal line, with IVÁN acting as an attacking full back to provide width on the right side. On the left, SALVADOR must balance his positioning to cover the space when the team pushes up. JHOHAN and VALENTÍN form the central pairing, with JHOHAN acting as a ball playing defender to start attacks from the back while VALENTÍN focuses on being dominant in the air and covering the space behind.

The midfield operates with a three man midfield with a carrier to maintain control. RODRIGO and SANTIAGO work to control the center, with RODRIGO often tasked to shield the defense and win the second ball. FERNANDO plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, acting as the main link between the midfield and the front line. FERNANDO is responsible to find the feet of the striker and play through the lines to break the opposition block.

The attack features three attackers across the front to stretch the pitch. ISMAEL and JUAN act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to pull defenders away from the center. DÍBER plays as a pressing centre forward, working to pin the last defender and lead the hunt from the front. The goal is to create runs in behind through quick combinations and use the width provided by ISMAEL and JUAN to deliver crosses or cutbacks into the box.

León offers significant advantages through their ability to press high in coordinated waves. This forces opponents into mistakes near their own goal. The setup also creates numerical superiority in the attacking third when FERNANDO joins the front three, allowing León to overwhelm the defensive line.

This 4-3-3 formation is designed for teams that want to dominate through aggressive pressing and quick transitions. It is best suited for games against opponents who struggle to play out from the back under intense pressure.
