FC Juárez Football Formation
Starting Lineup
SEBASTIÁN (JURADO) · JAVIER (AQUINO) · JESÚS (MURILLO) · GILBERTO (SEPÚLVEDA) · ALEJANDRO (MAYORGA) · RODRIGO (DOURADO) · MONCHU (JIMÉNEZ) · GUILHERME (CASTILHO) · PUMA (RODRÍGUEZ) · JAIRO (TORRES) · ÓSCAR (ESTUPIÑÁN)FC Juárez plays a vertical brand of football using a 4-3-3. The lineup focuses on quick transitions and direct play to catch opponents out of position. This formation is built to press the opposition and use wide areas to create chances in the final third.
Sebastián operates between the posts as the goalkeeper. The back line consists of a flat back four with Alejandro and Javier acting as full backs. Gilberto and Jesús form the central defensive pairing, where Jesús provides aerial strength and Gilberto works to cover the space behind the wing backs. Alejandro and Javier are tasked to push up and provide width, while the central defenders hold the line and protect the central zone.
The midfield is a three-man midfield with a carrier. Rodrigo and Monchu work to control the center, with Rodrigo often acting to shield the defence and Monchu looking to drive forward with the ball. Guilherme plays as the attacking ten behind the striker, operating in the pockets of space to link the midfield and attack. This trio works to win the second ball and recycle possession to move the team up the pitch.
FC Juárez uses three attackers across the front. Óscar acts as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. Jairo and Puma operate as wide wingers who cut inside to create goalscoring opportunities. The wingers aim to isolate the opposition full backs in one on one situations, while the forwards press the opposition back line to force a long ball.
This formation offers several tactical advantages. The team can create wide overloads when Alejandro and Javier overlap the wingers. There is also an ability to press high in coordinated waves when Jairo, Puma, and Óscar trigger a press from the front. This allows FC Juárez to win it back high up the pitch and strike quickly.
The 4-3-3 formation relies on aggressive pressing and rapid movement in transition. It is best suited for games against opponents that play a high line or struggle to manage wide overloads.
