Christopher sits between the posts to organize the back line. The defensive unit utilizes a back three where Agustín acts as the left centre-back and Alexis serves as the right centre-back. Naves sits in the middle to anchor the defense. These three defenders must hold the line and ensure they do not get caught too high when the team pushes forward. The unit works together to defend zonally and squeeze the space between the lines to prevent through balls.

The midfield functions as a flat four that connects the defence to the attack. Pedro and Lorenzo operate in the central roles, where they need to win the second ball and progress through the thirds. Pedro works to shield the defence, while Lorenzo looks to carry the ball forward to link with the front three. On the flanks, Mauro and Kevin act as wide midfielders to provide width and cover the space left by the advancing attackers.
