Luis guards the goal and oversees the defensive unit. The back line operates as a back five, with Danny acting as the central anchor to clear the lines and organize the defensive block. Francisco and Raúl serve as the wide centre-backs, where they provide cover and win headers in central areas. Carlos and Emilio act as attacking wing backs, tasked with providing width and overlapping the wide players to stretch the field. This unit works to hold a compact shape and deny space between the lines.

The midfield relies on a double pivot to control the center of the pitch. Israel and Matías work to shield the defense and win the second ball in central areas. Matías helps connect the defensive unit to the attack by recycling possession, while Israel looks to carry the ball forward to break the lines. This formation offers significant tactical advantages through its ability to defend in a narrow defensive block. The presence of five defenders makes the team very hard to break down centrally, while the attacking wing backs create wide overloads when they push up.
