This lineup focuses on a heavy defensive block and quick transitions using a 5-4-1. The team aims to sit deep and remain hard to break down while looking to hit the opponent on the break. By packing the central areas, the team creates a compact unit that is difficult to play through, making it a highly defensive formation built to absorb pressure.

Englishy guards the goal as the starting point for any build up. The defensive unit utilizes a back five consisting of Youi, Q, and Rty as the central trio, with Salah and Law operating as attacking wing backs on the flanks. Youi acts as the central figure to organize the line, while Q and Rty provide cover and engage attackers. Salah and Law are tasked with providing width and can push high up the pitch to support the attack, but they must track back quickly to maintain the five man line. The unit functions by staying tight to deny space between the lines.

In the middle of the pitch, a flat four midfield line works to screen the defense. Lamn and Lokkie sit in the central roles to protect the center of the pitch and win the second ball. Lamn and Lokkie act as the primary shield, while Frenchie and Gikket occupy the wide positions to track opposing full backs and help recycle possession. The midfield works together to compress the space in the center, forcing the opposition to play wide where they can be contained. This group links the defensive line to the lone striker by providing a platform to transition from defense to attack.

The attacking phase relies on Gubs acting as a lone striker to hold up the ball and bring others into play. Because the team lacks multiple forwards, Gubs must work hard to press the opposition back line and create space for late runs. The width is provided by the wing backs Salah and Law, who aim to get to the byline and deliver crosses into the box. When the team wins the ball high up the pitch, the intention is to find Gubs or exploit the space behind the opposition defense through quick vertical passes.

This formation offers great compactness when defending and makes it very difficult for opponents to find gaps in the middle. A major strength is the ability to use Salah and Law to create wide overloads when the team moves from a low block into a transition. The setup also allows the team to stay disciplined in a narrow defensive block, making them very hard to beat in games where they need to protect a lead.
