ANDRE and ISAAC sit deeper to shield the defence and recycle possession, while BOBBY operates as an attacking ten behind the striker. BOBBY looks to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines to break the opposition block. This group links the defence to the attack by ensuring they always have passing options to move the ball forward.

The attack features three attackers across the front, utilizing Leon and Ephron as wide wingers who cut inside to threaten the goal. KEINAN acts as the lone striker, tasked to hold up the ball and pin the last defender to create room for others. Leon and Ephron press from the front to force a long ball, while the team looks to attack in combinations in transition. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and isolate wide players in one on one situations.

Tanzania gains a major advantage through the ability to press high in coordinated waves, making it difficult for opponents to play out from the back. The presence of BOBBY behind KEINAN also allows for numerical superiority in the final third. These wide overloads from the full backs combined with the inverted movement of the wingers make the team very difficult to mark.
