Focusing on verticality and quick transitions, this team operates within a 5-3-2 formation. The lineup is built to absorb pressure and hit opponents with direct movements when the ball is won. By utilizing a deep defensive base, the team looks to exploit gaps in the opposition line through rapid forward runs.

Belalai starts in goal to organize the defensive line. The back five consists of a central trio made up of Nadhil, Iqbal, and KP. Nadhil acts as the central anchor while Iqbal and KP provide cover and defend the zones behind the wing backs. Epul and Ayam serve as attacking wing backs, tasked with providing width and pushing high up the pitch to support the attack. This unit maintains a narrow defensive block to protect the middle, forcing opponents to play wide where they can be contained.

The midfield operates as a three-man unit designed to control the central area. Masyem and Baba occupy the central roles, acting as the engine to win the second ball and connect the defense to the attack. Masyem helps shield the back line while Baba works to drive forward with the ball. Taro plays as the attacking ten, operating in the hole between the midfield and the strikers. Taro is tasked to find pockets of space and play through the lines to feed the forwards.

In the attacking phase, the team uses two forwards in a partnership. Isaac and Wansid lead the line, working together to pull defenders out of position. Isaac operates as the left striker while Wansid plays as the right striker. They press the opposition back line to force mistakes and win the ball high up the pitch. The movements are designed to create runs in behind and allow the wing backs, Epul and Ayam, to overlap and deliver crosses into the box. The forwards often combine in tight spaces to link play before knocking it in behind.

This formation offers several tactical advantages. The back five provides significant compactness when defending, making it very difficult for opponents to find space centrally. The team also benefits from wide overloads when Epul and Ayam push forward to join the attacking trio. This creates a high number of passing options in the final third and allows the team to stretch the defense effectively.
