The midfield functions as a three man midfield with a carrier and a creative tip. Kristjan and Ylber operate in the central areas to win the second ball and progress through the thirds. Nedim plays as an attacking ten behind the striker to link the midfield and the attack. While Kristjan and Ylber work to shield the defence and recycle possession, Nedim looks to find the feet of the striker or play through the lines to create scoring opportunities.

Albania uses three attackers across the front to pressure the opposition back line. Myrtot plays as an inverted winger on the left, cutting inside to find space, while Anis operates on the right to stretch the play. Armando acts as the central striker, working to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for the runners.
