The midfield features a three-man midfield with a carrier. ENIS plays as the attacking ten behind the striker to link the lines. Tihomir and Jani operate in the central areas to control the tempo. Jani and Tihomir help to shield the defence and press aggressively to win the ball back in the middle third. They work to progress through the thirds by playing short from the back before looking to find the feet of the striker.

Up front, North Macedonia employs three attackers across the front. BOJAN acts as the lone striker, working to hold up the ball and pin the last defender. On the flanks, ELJIF and DARKO act as wide wingers who hug the touchline to spread the play. This setup allows ELJIF and DARKO to cut inside and create chances for BOJAN or look for cutbacks from the byline. The forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition.
