In goal, Horníček oversees the defensive unit. The back line functions as a flat back four, where Coufal plays as an attacking full back on the right to provide width. Chaloupak operates on the left as a left back, looking to overlap or support the midfield. In the center, Hranáč and Kričfaluš act as the primary defenders, with Hranáč often stepping up to intercept passes while Kričfaluš covers the space behind. This unit works together to defend zonally and maintain a high line to keep the team compact.

The midfield is a five man unit designed to dominate the central areas. Macek and Sadílek work as a double pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Karabec and Ambros act as two inverted eights who connect the defense to the attack, driving forward with the ball to carry it into the final third. Šulc plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, operating in the pockets of space to find through balls. This group is tasked to press aggressively to win the ball high up the pitch and recycle possession quickly.

Czechia uses a lone striker in Hložek to lead the line. Hložek acts as a pressing centre-forward, working to pin the last defender and disrupt the opposition build up. The attack is built through combinations between Šulc and the advancing midfielders. When the team wins the ball, they look to hit in behind on the transition, using the width provided by Coufal and Chaloupak to stretch the defense. The movement is designed to create runs in behind and allow Šulc to arrive late into the box.
