Ahead of them, Sigua and Metinho play as two tens in the half-spaces to link the midfield to the attack. Sigua and Metinho search for pockets of space to receive the ball and play through the lines to find the forwards.

Shaqiri and Celar operate as a central partnership, with Shaqiri looking to find the feet of the striker or drop deep to link play. Olaigbe plays as an inverted winger on the right, looking to cut inside and create shooting opportunities, while Otele stretches the play from the left wing.
