Israel seeks to control matches through high pressing and verticality in a 4-3-3. This formation is built to squeeze the space in the opposition half and win the ball back high up the pitch to catch the opponent out of position. The lineup relies on quick transitions to move from a defensive block into a dangerous attacking phase.

OMRI operates between the posts to organize the back line. The defense works as a flat back four where ELI acts as a full back to provide width on the right side. DENNY plays as the left back, ready to overlap when the team pushes forward. In the center, IDAN and RAZ form the defensive core, with IDAN acting as a ball playing defender to start attacks and RAZ focusing on winning the second ball and covering the space behind the full backs.

The midfield functions as a three man midfield with a carrier and a creative spark. MAHMOUD and NETA work to compress the midfield and press aggressively to win the ball high. MAHMOUD can drive forward with the ball to break the line, while NETA helps to shield the defense and recycle possession. OMRI operates as an attacking ten behind the striker, finding pockets of space to connect the defensive and attacking lines and play through the lines with clever passes.

Israel uses three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. SAYED acts as a pressing centre-forward to pin the last defender and hold up the ball for others. GABI and IDAN play as inverted wingers who cut inside to create more central presence and allow the full backs to push higher. This movement creates runs in behind and allows the team to isolate a one on one wide if the wingers can beat their markers. The attack moves in combinations to find the feet of the striker in tight spaces.

A major advantage for Israel is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, using the front three to trigger a press. The formation also offers speed of transition, as the midfielders can quickly find the inverted wingers when the ball is won. This setup allows the team to create numerical superiority in the central areas when OMRI moves into the attacking third.

This 4-3-3 formation is designed for teams that want to dominate the ball and play with high intensity. It is best suited for matches against opponents who struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
