Campodónico starts between the posts to organize the defensive unit. The back line consists of a central trio where Cajaravilla holds the middle while Ruiz and Martín sit on either side. Martín acts as a covering defender, whereas Ruiz provides strength in the air. The wing backs, Iñiguez and Álvarez, provide width by pushing high up the pitch during attacks. When the team drops into a low block, Iñiguez and Álvarez fall back to form a five man line to deny space behind the defense.

Corti connects the defensive and attacking lines by receiving the ball in the half spaces and looking to play through the lines.

In the final third, the team utilizes a partnership of two forwards. Mústico acts as a pressing centre forward to disrupt the opposition build up, while Vuoso plays as a second striker in the hole to link play. The attack relies on the width provided by Álvarez and Iñiguez to create crossing opportunities. The strikers often look to run in behind the defensive line or hold up the ball to allow Corti to arrive late into the box. This combination allows the team to attack in combinations when they can pin the last defender.

One major strength is the ability to achieve compactness when defending in a narrow defensive block. This makes it difficult for opponents to play through the middle. Another advantage is the speed of transition when the wing backs push forward. When Iñiguez and Álvarez overlap the winger, they create wide overloads that stretch the defence. This makes the team very dangerous when they can hit the opposition on the break.
