This formation is built to overwhelm the opposition through sheer numbers in the final third, looking to strike fast as soon as the ball is recovered. The goal is to bypass the opposition midfield quickly and present multiple threats to the back line.

The goalkeeper sits behind a flat back four to manage long balls and organize the line. Ahmada plays as the right centre-back, working alongside the left centre-back to hold the line and defend the central areas. The left-back and right-back roles are vital for providing cover when the team pushes high, often needing to track back quickly to prevent counter attacks. The defensive unit works to keep the line compact to avoid being split by through balls while managing the space behind them.

In the middle of the pitch, a double pivot provides the necessary link between the defence and the attack. The two central midfielders must work tirelessly to shield the defence and win the second ball. One midfielder often drops deeper to help play out from the back, while the other looks to carry the ball forward to connect the lines. The sheer number of attackers makes it very difficult for a back four to track every run, especially when the wingers and attacking midfielder coordinate their movements. Additionally, the team can exploit the space left behind by an opponent who tries to play an expansive game, allowing for rapid breaks.
