Starting Lineup

Ugurcan · Abdulkerim · Ozan · Zeki · Ferdi · Salih · Hakan (Orkun) · Baris · Arda · Can Uzun · Deniz Gul

Türkiye focuses on a vertical style of play and a high press using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike quickly through the wide areas. The goal is to use the width of the pitch to stretch the defence and create chances in transition.

Ugurcan sits between the posts to manage the defensive line. The back three consists of Zeki, Ozan, and Abdulkerim. Zeki and Abdulkerim act as the wide centre-backs to cover the flanks, while Ozan stays central to win the header and command the area. This unit works to hold a high line and squeeze the space between the lines. They look to play out from the back when the opposition presses.

The midfield functions as a wide four to control the center and the wings. Hakan and Salih operate as a double pivot to shield the defence and recycle possession. Hakan uses his passing range to find teammates, while Salih works to intercept passes and win the second ball. Ferdi and Baris act as wide midfielders who provide the engine for the team. Ferdi is able to carry the ball forward to support the attack, while Baris provides energy to press in a mid-block.

Türkiye uses three attackers to pin the opposition backline. Deniz Gul plays as a lone striker to lead the line and hold up the ball. On the flanks, Can Uzun and Arda operate as inverted wingers who cut inside to create central threats. This movement creates space for Ferdi and Baris to overlap the winger and deliver crosses. The forwards work together to press from the front and force a long ball from the opponents.

The main tactical strengths lie in the ability to press high in coordinated waves and create wide overloads. Because Ferdi and Baris push high, they can create numerical superiority in the wide areas. This formation also allows for speed of transition when Hakan can immediately split the defence with a through ball to the front three.

This 3-4-3 formation relies on aggressive pressing and quick vertical movement. It is best suited for games against teams that play a high line and leave space behind their defenders.
