Türkiye wants to control games through verticality and quick transitions using a 3-5-2. This formation is built to dominate the central areas while utilizing the energy of the wide players to stretch the opposition. By playing with a dense midfield, the team aims to win the second ball and immediately look to break through the lines.

Ugurcan stays between the posts to command his area. The back three consists of Zeki, Ozan, and Abdulkerim. Zeki acts as the right center back, while Abdulkerim covers the left side. Ozan sits in the middle to organize the unit and hold the line. This defensive unit works to stay compact, with the defenders stepping up to trigger a press or dropping deep to defend zonally when the opposition threatens the space behind.

The midfield is a five man unit designed to occupy the half spaces and control the tempo. Hakan and Salih operate in the central zone, where Hakan uses his passing range to progress through the thirds and Salih works to shield the defence. Arda operates as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to find pockets of space to play through the lines. Ferdi and Baris provide the necessary width, with Ferdi pushing high on the left and Baris driving forward on the right to support the attack.

Up front, Türkiye uses two forwards in a partnership. Kenan Yildiz plays as the left striker, utilizing his dribbling style to carry the ball forward and pull defenders out of position. Deniz Gul plays as the right striker, looking to link up play with the attacking midfielders. The front two press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition. This setup creates many chances for runs in behind and allows the wide players to deliver early crosses into the box.

One major tactical strength for Türkiye is the ability to create wide overloads when Ferdi and Baris push forward to overlap the midfielders. Another advantage is the numerical superiority in midfield, which allows the team to compress the midfield and make it difficult for opponents to play through the center. The combination of a strong central block and mobile wide players makes the transition from defense to attack very fast.

This 3-5-2 formation provides a heavy central presence that is hard to bypass. It is best suited for games against opponents who play with narrow formations and struggle to defend the wide channels.
