Youssef acts as the last line of defense, starting the build up from the back. The defensive unit sits in a back three, with Zuga playing as the left centre back and Urti as the right centre back. Rubén occupies the central role to anchor the defense and organize the line. These three defenders must be ready to cover the space behind the midfield when the team presses. The defenders work to maintain a compact block, ensuring they do not get stretched when the game moves wide.

The midfield is a dense unit designed to overload the center of the park. Eneko plays as an attacking ten, operating in the space between the opposition defense and midfield to find pockets of space.
