Starting Lineup
ADNAN (GK) · LB (Ashboi) · Akshaj (CB) · Kix (CB) · Siva (RB) · Nanda (LW) · Shriyan (RW) · Vikky (ST) · Charan (CDM) · Kailash (CM) · Shrvan (CM)This team relies on a high press and verticality within a 4-3-3 formation. The goal is to win the ball high up the pitch and quickly progress through the thirds to catch the opposition out of position. This lineup is built to play with high intensity, using heavy pressure to disrupt the opponent before they can settle into a rhythm.
Adnan sits between the posts as the goalkeeper, acting as the foundation for the defense. The back line operates as a flat back four, where Siva acts as a right back to provide width and Kix functions as a right centre back. On the left, LB holds the left back position while Akshaj plays as the left centre back to cover the space. The defensive unit works to squeeze the space, keeping the lines close to trigger a press whenever the ball enters their half.
The midfield is a three man midfield with a carrier in the center. Charan acts as the single pivot to shield the defense and recycle possession. To his right, Shrvan operates as a right central midfielder to connect the defensive and attacking lines, while Kailash plays as the left central midfielder to press aggressively and win the ball high. This trio works to compress the midfield, ensuring they can either win the second ball or immediately drive forward with the ball once possession is regained.
Up front, the team utilizes three attackers across the front. Vikky acts as the lone striker, tasked to find the feet of the striker and hold up the ball to bring others into play. Nanda plays as a left winger who likes to cut inside, while Shriyan operates as a right winger to spread wide and stretch the defense. These attackers are expected to press from the front, forcing the opposition to play long balls that the midfield can intercept. The formation is designed to create runs in behind and isolate wide players in one on one situations.
The lineup offers several tactical advantages, such as the ability to press high in coordinated waves to force errors. By using the width of Nanda and Shriyan, the team can create wide overloads when the full backs push forward. Another strength is the speed of transition, as the central midfielders can quickly switch play or pass through the lines to find the attackers in space.
This 4-3-3 formation is a high intensity system designed for aggressive ball recovery and rapid attacking. It is best suited for matches against opponents who struggle to play out from the back under pressure.
