Starting Lineup

PALDI · EPUL · PAHRI · AMAN · RIPAL · Yunus · Hisam · ULED · GILANG · Rehan · ADRIAN

Persib relies on a high press and verticality using a 3-4-3. This formation is built to win the ball high up the pitch and attack quickly through the channels. By using a heavy attacking lineup, the team seeks to stretch the opposition and create constant pressure in the final third.

PALDI acts as the last line of defense in goal. The back line consists of a central trio where PAHRI sits in the middle to command the area. AMAN plays as the right centre-back and EPUL occupies the left centre-back position. They defend zonally to maintain a compact block when the team sits deep. The three defenders work to cover space and intercept passes before the opposition can penetrate the central zone.

The midfield works in a four man unit to control the center and the flanks. Yunus and Hisam act as a central pairing to control the tempo and shield the back three. Yunus looks to carry the ball forward while Hisam stays deeper to win the second ball. On the sides, RIPAL and ULED operate as wide midfielders to provide width. RIPAL pushes up to support the left channel and ULED provides cover on the right, helping the midfield transition from defense to attack.

Persib utilizes three attackers to pin the last defender. GILANG operates as a lone striker to hold up the ball and find the feet of his teammates. ADRIAN plays on the left as an inverted winger to cut inside and create space. Rehan stays wide on the right to stretch the defense. This front three works to press the opposition back line and make runs in behind to exploit gaps. The attackers use quick combinations to break the lines and deliver crosses into the box.

The main tactical advantages for Persib involve wide overloads and the ability to press high in coordinated waves. With RIPAL and ULED providing width alongside the wingers, the team can often create numerical superiority in the wide areas. The formation also allows the team to switch play quickly to isolate players in one on one situations. This setup forces the opposition to defend a large amount of space across the pitch.

This 3-4-3 formation is designed for a team that wants to dominate through aggression and quick transitions. It is best suited for games against opponents who play a high line and can be caught out by pace.
