Bratstvo relies on a compact defensive block and rapid transitions using a 4-5-1. This formation is built to control the central areas and force opponents to the flanks, waiting for a moment to hit in behind on the transition. The team looks to sit deep when out of possession, creating a wall that is difficult to penetrate before looking to move the ball forward quickly once it is won back.

ALBERTOSI acts as the last line of defense in goal for Bratstvo. The back line operates as a flat back four with COOPER and VOGTS occupying the wide positions. COOPER works as a defensive full back to ensure stability, while VOGTS provides width on the opposite side. In the middle, ZEBEC and VASOVIĆ form the central pairing, with ZEBEC acting as a covering defender and VASOVIĆ focusing on being dominant in the air. This unit works together to maintain a narrow defensive block and close down space effectively.

The midfield is a five man unit designed to congest the center of the pitch. VORONIN and SASTRE act as a double pivot to shield the defense and win the second ball. Ahead of them, JAIR, SIVORI, and VUKAS form a line of three that connects the defense to the attack. VUKAS and JAIR operate in the half spaces to help recycle possession, while SIVORI connects the lines by moving between the midfield and the forward. This midfield group aims to squeeze the space and intercept passes before they reach the final third.

In the attacking phase, the team relies on a lone striker, MÜLLER, to lead the line. MÜLLER works as a pressing centre forward to harass the opposition back line and hold up the ball to allow the midfield to join the attack. The wide players must tuck in to support the central presence, often leaving the width to the full backs when they overlap. The goal is to use MÜLLER to pin the last defender, creating space for SIVORI or the wide midfielders to arrive late into the box or play through the lines.

This formation offers the advantage of extreme compactness when defending in a mid block. By having five players in the midfield line, the team can easily win the second ball and prevent the opponent from playing through the center. Another strength is the ability to hit in behind on the transition, using the distance between the defensive unit and MÜLLER to stretch the opposition once the ball is recovered.

Bratstvo utilizes a disciplined defensive setup to frustrate stronger sides. This 4-5-1 formation is best suited for matches against possession heavy opponents where winning the ball high up the pitch or catching them on the break is the primary goal.
