Starting Lineup
NADIM (01) · SHORIFUL (02) · SOMRAT (03) · FARUK (04) · BOKKOR (05) · SAIKOT (07) · ARIF/NAIYEM (06) · TUHIN JR (C) (10) · MUSA (08) · SAIKOT NS (09) · MOFAZZOL (11)The team focuses on heavy verticality and attacking intent through a 2-4-4 formation. This lineup aims to overwhelm the opponent in the final third by committing many bodies forward to press and create chaos. By pushing so many players up the pitch, the team seeks to win the ball back high up the pitch and strike before the opposition can settle.
SAIKOT NS acts as the lone goalkeeper, often left to manage large areas of space behind the defense. The back line consists of a narrow central pair with MOFAZZOL and MUSA acting as the two central defenders. Since there are only two defenders, they must be able to cover wide areas and stay alert to prevent runners from getting behind them. MOFAZZOL and MUSA need to communicate constantly to handle long balls and manage the high line that the rest of the team maintains.
In the center of the pitch, the midfield works to control the transition and support the heavy front line. TUHIN JR (C), the captain, sits in a single pivot role to shield the two central defenders and protect the middle. To his sides, SAIKOT and ARIF/NAIYEM occupy the left and right central midfield slots to drive forward with the ball and link the play. BOKKOR operates as an attacking ten behind the strikers, looking to find pockets of space and play through the lines to feed the forwards.
The attacking structure is extremely aggressive, utilizing four players to pin the opposition defense. SHORIFUL and NADIM operate as two central forwards, looking to make runs in behind or hold up the ball for others. On the flanks, FARUK plays as a right winger to provide width, while SOMRAT acts as a left winger to stretch the defense. This group is designed to press from the front, forcing the opposition to play long and allowing the team to win the second ball.
A major strength of this formation is the ability to create massive attacking overloads that make it hard for opponents to mark everyone. By having four dedicated attackers and an advanced midfielder in BOKKOR, the team can quickly overwhelm a back four. Another advantage is the speed of transition, as the proximity of the midfielders to the forwards allows for quick combinations in tight spaces.
This formation relies on a high press and extreme offensive commitment to dominate the game. It is best suited for matches where the team needs to chase a goal or face an opponent that struggles to handle intense pressure.
