Rodina looks to play with a high press and heavy verticality using a 3-4-3 formation. This lineup relies on squeezing the space and winning the ball high up the pitch to catch opponents out of position. The goal is to use the width of the pitch to stretch the defence and create quick attacking combinations.

In goal, 76 acts as the last line of defence. The back line operates as a back three, where 76 sits on the right, 76 occupies the central spot, and 75 holds the left side. These three central defenders must stay compact and work together to defend zonally. They focus on clearing the lines and winning the second ball to prevent any direct attacks from gaining momentum.

The midfield consists of a four man unit that connects the defensive and attacking lines. 75 and 72 play in the central roles, where they work to intercept passes and win the ball in the middle of the pitch. On the flanks, 75 and 78 act as wide midfielders who are tasked to cover the entire length of the pitch. The wide midfielders help to provide width in possession and must track back to help the back three when the team sits deep.

The attacking front three is designed to pin the last defender and create chaos. 76 operates as a lone striker who looks to hold up the ball and lay it off to teammates. On the wings, 75 and 72 act as wide wingers who look to cut inside and create goal scoring chances. These attackers work together to press from the front, forcing long balls and creating opportunities to counter at pace.

One major advantage for Rodina is the ability to create wide overloads when the wide midfielders and wingers combine. Another strength is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, which makes it difficult for opponents to play out from the back. This formation allows the team to transition very quickly from a mid block to a direct attack.

Rodina uses this formation to dominate games through aggressive pressing and quick transitions. This lineup is best suited for matches against teams that struggle to play under pressure and leave space behind their midfield.
