Kiryat-Shmona focuses on a vertical style of play through a 4-3-3 formation. The team looks to hit teams on the transition and win the ball back high up the pitch to catch opponents out of position. This lineup is designed to stretch the opposition and create space in the middle through quick ball movement and aggressive movement from the front line.

Tenanbaum guards the goal and oversees the defensive unit. The back line operates as a flat back four with Vaier at right back and Shaheen or Sabah at left back. These wide defenders are tasked to overlap the winger to provide width. In the center, Ben David and Ljubisavljevic or Edri hold the line and defend zonally. They must stay compact to prevent through balls and ensure they win the second ball when the opposition plays long.

The midfield functions as a three-man midfield with a carrier and a creative presence. Costa and Sola operate in the central areas, with Costa looking to connect the defensive and attacking lines while Sola drives forward with the ball. Sheratzky plays as an attacking ten behind the striker, finding pockets of space to play through the lines. This group works to compress the midfield and press in a mid-block to force long balls from the opposition.

Attacking the opponent involves three attackers across the front. Sagna and Abdullazada act as wide wingers, with Sagna cutting inside to create numbers in the middle and Abdullazada looking to get to the byline and deliver early crosses. Pop or Gabay leads the line as a pressing centre-forward to pin the last defender. The aim is to use quick combinations to break the line and find the feet of the striker or drive into the box with late runs from Sheratzky.

Kiryat-Shmona finds success by using the speed of transition to exploit spaces left by advancing opponents. The formation allows for wide overloads when Vaier and Shaheen push up to support the wingers. This setup also makes it easier to press in coordinated waves, which can disrupt the rhythm of teams that try to play out from the back.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on high intensity and quick verticality to break down opponents. It is best suited for games against teams that leave space behind their defensive line or struggle to deal with wide overloads.
