Raków focuses on a defensive solidity and quick transitions through a 5-4-1. This formation is built to sit deep, absorb pressure, and strike when the opposition leaves space behind. The team works to squeeze the space between the lines, making it difficult for opponents to play through the middle.

In goal, 76 acts as the last line of defense. The back line operates as a narrow defensive block consisting of three central defenders and two wide wing backs. The central trio of 75, 76, and 75 provides strength in the air and covers the width of the box. 76 acts as the central figure to sweep behind the line when needed. The wing backs, 75 on the right and 75 on the left, are tasked with tracking back to form a back five when defending deep, while also being ready to push up the flanks to provide width during a break.

The midfield operates as a flat four to maintain compactness. 76 and 74 occupy the central roles, with 76 acting to shield the defense and recycle possession. The second central midfielder, 74, looks to connect the defensive unit to the attack. On the flanks, 73 and 71 play as wide midfielders. 73 works on the right side to support the wing back, while 71 provides cover on the left. This four-man unit is designed to deny the turn to opposition players and force them wide into less dangerous areas.

The attacking setup relies on a lone striker, 70, who must work hard to press the opposition back line. Raków uses 70 to hold up the ball and wait for support. The attack is built through transitions, where 73 and 71 push forward to support the striker. The team looks to exploit the flanks with runs in behind or quick passes into the channels. By using 70 as a focal point, the team can move the ball quickly from a low block into the final third.

One major advantage for Raków is the ability to maintain extreme compactness when defending, making it very hard to break the lines. The formation also allows for wide overloads when 73 and 75 combine to overwhelm an opponent on the flank. This numerical strength in the defensive zones ensures that the team is rarely caught out in central areas.

This 5-4-1 lineup is designed to frustrate teams that dominate possession by sitting in a low block. It is a setup best suited for playing against high-possession opponents where quick counters can be exploited.
