On defense we will implement a high back line using the 6 second rule then drop the back to shield the keeper who will not be a sweeper keeper. The attackers or midfield press hard while the rest of the team cuts off passes. On attack we will play possession implementing falsebacks to push the ball up either side leaving our defense to shift into a three back with the support of a holding midfielder. The false nine will draw the defensive line back but drop to receive passes and then play off the falseback and playmaker to create opportunities. Box to box midfielders will play free and into open space focusing on giving options on the attack and filling gaps on the defense. The entire team should transition fast up and down the field while the back line and midfield focus on transitioning across the field.
