Valencia aims to play a high press and vertical style of football with a 4-3-3 formation. This lineup is built to win the ball high up the pitch and quickly transition into attacking moves. The goal is to squeeze the space in the opponent half and create chances through rapid movement and direct passing.

Sempere acts as the goalkeeper to organize the defensive line from the back. The defense utilizes a flat back four to maintain a compact shape. Botubot plays as the right back to support the flank, while Carrete operates as the left back. In the center, Tendillo and Arias form the central defensive pair, with Tendillo acting as a ball playing defender to help play out from the back. They work together to hold the line and intercept passes before the opposition can enter the final third.

The midfield operates as a three-man midfield with a carrier to connect the lines. Arnesen plays as the left central midfielder to press aggressively and win the ball high up the pitch. César provides the presence needed to shield the defense and recycle possession when the team needs to control the tempo. Solsona works alongside them to drive forward with the ball and progress through the thirds. This unit is responsible for picking up runners and ensuring the transition from defense to attack remains effective.

Valencia uses three attackers across the front to stretch the defense. Gálvez acts as the lone striker and stays central to find the feet of the striker and hold up the ball. On the wings, Saura, the captain, plays as the right winger to cut inside and create goal scoring chances. Pablo operates on the left wing, ready to pull wide and deliver crosses or drive into the half spaces. These forwards press from the front to force a long ball from the opposition, allowing the defensive unit to regain control.

One major advantage for Valencia is the ability to press high in coordinated waves, which can force errors in the opponent's buildup. The formation also provides the speed of transition needed to hit in behind on the transition once the ball is won. By using the width of the pitch with Pablo and Saura, the team can create wide overloads to pin the last defender and create space in the middle.

This 4-3-3 formation relies on high intensity and quick ball movement to disrupt the opposition. It is best suited for games against teams that struggle to play out from the back under heavy pressure.
