Arsenal Football Formation

Lineup (4-4-2)

4-4-2 is the best formation for Arsenal so I restore it. Half of the players in my team have not been bought by Arsenal but they are suitable to play for Arsenal.

First, Szczensy as GK is reasonable for his potential and figure. Apart from team leader Vermaelen, his partner should be Gary Cahill who is young and with good defense. I choose Everton's Baines as LSB because of his nationality and good free kick skills. Sagna is still the RSB even though he is not good at centering.

In Midfield, I prefer Frimpong and Charlie Adam as the CMFs, then we will have energy and higher defense ability. LMF should be Gervinho who has speed and dribble skills, while young Chamberlain can be RMF with his pace and potential in breakthrough the opponent's defense.

I give my vote to Arshavin rather than Van Persie to be the team's SS, who has speed, dribbling skills, long shooting ability and very good passing ability. The only CF should be Walcott, who recently show off himself as a good striker in stead of a winger. Arshavin and Walcott share the similar combination with Bergkamp and Anelka in mid the 1990s. In other words, I would like Arsenal to play back in quick encounter attack and also with at least half of the line-up have British nationality. It will be a more healthy and practical Arsenal.
