Arshavin has the touch but not necessarily the work rate to play on the wing. I think in a CAM role, he could still be a difference maker. Walcott is slightly more advanced than Gervinho on the wing because Gervais has more ability to dribble the ball and draw defenders thus opening up runs for players like Walcott. Vermaelen plays more as a stopper, Mertesacker as cover. Hopefully with Arsh's creativity (CAM), Arteta (from CM), Theo's off-ball runs inside, and Gervinho drawing penetrating runs, RVP will have better looks at goal which will in turn create more options to pass to for goal. I envision this playing like a 4-2-1-3 with Arteta covering for Song if he is called to make runs out of the holding midfield role, or even both occupying that role if Santos makes a run down the left side
