Lineup (4-2-3-1)
Neuer · Lugano · Badstuber · Lahm · Boateng · Schweinsteiger · Kroos · Ribery · Robben · Müller · GomezBayern Munich´s current squad could only be improved with the incorporation of a strong CB. Offensively, one of Europe´s most prolific teams, and their defense isn´t or shouldn´t be regarded as a bad one, since only a handful of teams have a better record than theirs. The reason why Uruguayan national captain and current Paris-Saint Germain player, Diego Lugano, was chosen, is due to his tactical awareness, his high influence, his experience and the fact that he is one of the toughest players out there.
Important to point out is the "doppel 6" that Schweinsteiger and Kroos form. Both are similar players who could compliment themselves marvellously. Whilst Schweini´s sudden bursts forwards help consolidate the team´s offensive movement, his stronghold is pressing and distributing the ball. This is where a skilful and more offensive-minded player like Kroos comes in handy. By relieving him of the hassle of dealing constantly with defence (by allowing him to concentrate on bringing the ball closer to the three attacking midfield line), his ball possession and accurate passing can be key in the creation of a fluent style of play, which Müller could take advantage of.
Lahm and Boateng could serve as wingers, helping Ribery and Robben with long passes and dragging marks away from them.
