i choose this formation because 4-3-2-1 is a flexible formation.
i mean, this formation can plays a mixed playing style, through the middle + down both flanks, better than 4-3-3 because we can dominate the midfield wich is almost 95% key of winning the match, its also can transform into 4-3-3 formation when needed. why 95%? of course 5% is luck =__=.

I choose this player based from my analysis on chelsea recent match. 3 draw and 1 lose against aston villa proved that chelsea need a fresh blood, creative and pacey players.

Right back : this is the weakest point of chelsea defence this season. when i see bosingwa plays, he often do an overlaping but his cross never met the targetman, always ended in opposition feet/head, also he always late and lazy to recover to his position wich make ivanovic/luiz act as "double agent" to cover his position and left a hole in the centre of defence. the same for fereirra, he's doin a good job marking gareth bale while against spurs, but the recent match against aston villa proved he's too old and slow to play as first team. that's why i choose sam hutchinson or van der wiel whose still young, talented and have a good pace. i would like to choose ivanovic as right back but he's injured. -__-;

Centre back : terry and luiz plays good almost every match but it's all ruined because opponent always exploited the right flank ( our weakest area ) wich make luiz or terry have to cover 2 area in the same time. also i found that luiz and terry sometimes roaming out of their position in the same time. they should be plays in a different role. roaming defender is suitable for luiz because he has a good pace, passing and determination. while terry could act as limited defender, hold his position to cover luiz while he failed to mark his opponent, this role suit him because terry isn't have a pace, but his experience is a massive help.

why i added gary cahill? he has better aerial challenge than luiz. he will be a good addition to cover terry/luiz. this could be a good partnership between cahill (roaming defender)-terry(limited defender) / luiz(roaming defender)-cahill(limited defender) or even the usual partnership Luiz (roaming defender)-Terry(limited defender).

Midfielder : i choose romeu or essien as holding midfielder. the young spaniard has a good passing and tackling. while essien known to be a player who has a great stamina to cover the whole pitch in 90 minute.

right wing : forcing sturridge to play as winger formard isnt a bad idea, but it's not his best position. he rarely helped his team mate with crossing or through passing and always tries to found a glory for himself. Marc albrighton could be a good answer for chelsea need of right winger. he has a good pace, good crossing, young and talented plus he is an english man. while milos krasic has a plenty flairs to produce a magic.

left wing : same as right wing. the difference is juan mata can doing a good job as winger forward. but why i put lucas moura/de bryune on the left flank? the answer is, this would make mata's job easier as a playmaker. de bruyne has a good passing and crossing skills, while lucas is the type players who can produce a magic in the field. definetely what chelsea's need in this season.

AMC : I put mata and piazon in their best position. in this position, mata will be given a free role as trequartista to dictates tempo and giving a deadly through pass to our target man. as piazon act as shadow striker behind target man but will be the 2nd playmaker if mata found a deadlock.

Forward : for torres, altough he still couldn't end his goal drought, i still put him in the attacks area because he only needs a deadly through ball to make his best out ( that's what he got from gerrad ). and Sturridge would be another deadliest attackers if he plays on his best position as we know he's a type of egoist player and always tries to found the net. he has a very good pace and dribbling skill wich always put opponent defence in trouble. while lukaku should given more chance because he has all attribute to be a world class striker. this is the best strikers we have so far, unless chelsea bought Higuain / Cavani or Soldado
