3-4-3 in Defence with Messi dropping deep to pick up the ball to start new attacks in a diamond midfield. Song always sitting in CDM braking up the play and recycling the defending into possession. Defesive Line = Cover simply as back 3 are all fast and agile.

3-3-4 in Attack with Messi and Van Persie switching between CAM and CF. Sanchez and Cavani wide making lots of space for Messi and Van Persie.

I like this formation because the shape is easy to hold. Defense, Midfeild and attack are all linked by three different diamonds giving players more options to pass.

1st Diamond Defence = LB,RB,CB,CDM
2nd Diamond Midfeild = CDM,CAM,LM,RM
3rd Diamond Attack = LW,RW,CAM,CF

Passing = Always Short, only (Song, Iniesta, Fabregas) allowed to play long counter attacking passes.

Build up speed = Slow in the defensive third. Medium/Fast in the middle third. Fast in the attacking third, 1 touch when possible.
