Actual name of formation is 8-around-2. Parker and Bale in the middle are speedy ball handlers to distribute the ball. The 8 players on the outside start in those positions, but free-rotate around the outside. Parker and Bale are always supporting the player with the ball and redistributing it back to the outside. This "formation" is very adaptive to the game's flow(much like total football) and will provide quality passing options. The only problem is that the two center players need to be in extremely good shape to be able to support the ball all the time.
