With Kolo Toure and Yaya Toure departing for the Africa Cup of Nations, City need to fill the midfield gap that Yaya has temporarily left. James Milner, Nigel de Jong and Owen Hargreaves are great candidates for the Ivorian's role, but Milner should be there over de Jong and Hargreaves, but while Yaya is in Africa he will have to watch out for Milner, because if Milner impresses, Milner might be the one playing a crucial part in the class of Manchester City's 2011-12 team.
