Lineup (4-3-3)

Real Madrid - Barcelona. CdR 1st Quarter Final 12/01/18.

Defense; Iker between the posts, Sergio Ramos and Pepe play together in central defense, Lass and Marcelo as wing backs with qualities 1v1, both in defense and going forward.
Midfield: Alonso playing deep in midfield to help defense and distribute balls in attack. Coentrão is a great defender with good positional awareness and a lot of energy to pressurize the Barcelonas midfield. Also good with the ball and going forward.
Özil is our central attacking midfielder but plays a bit deeper than normal in this game to try to help the midfield as much as possible, while still being our play maker and the main provider when we do go forward.

Attack: Gonzalo Higuain plays on the right hand side and also a bit deeper than normal. He can cover a lot of ground and helps out Özil and Lass on his side. Good crosses and constantly a threat on the counter attack.
Benzema is our central forward and target man. Plays a bit like a false nine and combines primarily with Özil and Marcelo to provide for Cristiano Ronaldo.
Cristiano plays close to Benzema on the left hand side, almost like a second striker. Should not be too involved in the build up but mainly there to finish our attacks and provide physical presence while his speed will be invaluable on the counter.
