This is the squad that I would love to see playing for Manchester United in the 2012/2013 season. With three Englishmen in defence, the chemistry would be unrivalled. Along with the experience of Patrice Evra, this defence would be very hard to penetrate. Paul Pogba is superb in both offence and defence, and would control the flow of the game with his incredible passing ability. Nicolas Gaitan and Tom Cleverley would add the creative flair to our midfield, with both of them having the ability to dash around players and play the killer ball through to one of the front three. Ashley Young's shooting, crossing, passing and sheer pace have made him a deadly weapon for Manchester United in both the Premier League and the Champions League during the 2011/2012 season. He would take control of the left flank. Nani is a very similar player to Ashley Young, but can also use his trickery and agility to beat the opposition's defenders. He would make the right flank his domain. And to top it all off, Wayne Rooney would take the role of centre forward. With his sublime shooting, passing, heading and non-stop work rate, he is unarguably one of the best strikers in world football. And with the balls being played to him by the midfielders and wingers, Rooney would be scoring goals for fun. This team is not only solid defensively, but is also extremely dangerous offensively. This team would be a major threat to Barcelona's world dominance.
