I'd suggest this formation to Chelsea.Chelsea currently playing 4-3-3.But that limits the role(left wing) of Mata.Mata is similar to silva in playmaking i.e. he need free space,and he is best when plays that way.So my formation would give him that role while essien would play defensive mf and stay back just beyond the defence.This would also give lampard chance to get in the 18yard box.Ramires and Malouda have good crossing ability so they will poroduce goal scoring opportunities.And most importantly torres would get good service from midfield and wings as well.
