Obvious advantage: Having 5 midfielders helps dominate midfield.

Zone defending throughout the field

[Defense]
1, 2, 3: All play as normal center defenders. These players must push the rest of the team up when attacking and pull everyone back down when defending. Also they must be quick to spread out to attack and squeeze back in when under attack.
They all need high level of concentration, physical strength, confidence, one-on-one marking ability and vision.

[Midfield]

2: Ball-handling center Midfielder. Handle the ball and distribute the ball very well.
This player needs high level of passing quality, vision, creativity, and mentality.

1: Holding midfielder to screen the back three.
This player needs high level of defensive positioning, stamina, activity, confidence, and passing/heading quality.

3: Run off the ball and has creativity to play anywhere on the field
This player needs high level of creativity, techniques, offensive positioning and mentality.

4, 5: Joins the attack very often and makes accurate crosses. But also comes back to defense tenaciously. Must be very fit players and technically sound.
(Ex: When the opponents attack on midfielder #5's side, midfield #4 drops back to squeeze the defense.)
This player needs high level of crossing skills, speed, stamina, techniques, vision and defensive abilities.

[Offense]
1: Target player who must win the ball in the air. This player is usually above everyone else on the field and is always giving physical pressure on the opponents' defense.
This player needs high level of heading quality, physical rigidness, passing quality and offensive positioning.

2: This forward player must always find a gap between the opponent defenders to receive the ball from the target player or open up the opponent's defense by luring the opponents.
This player needs high level of speed, technical ability, finishing skills and offensive positioning.
