Attack:
Attacking options with this tactical play is limited. Having only one striker makes it harder to score goals if the midfielders do not give the correct support. There is still the standard wing play options but with only one striker too aim for in the center. With this tactic, it is usually not too risky to get more midfielders into the opponents half of the pitch and attack. With five defenders on as the back line, it is easier to deal with the opponents counter-attacks.

Defence:
Defending should be alot easier with this formation then other formations. The extra an in defence really makes a difference as it means you have more chance of outnumbering the attackers. Unless the oposing team are willing to throw midfielders forward to attack, defending shouldnt be too difficult. Just make sure to close down long shots on goal and give the oposition no space to work the ball.
