Manchester United Football Formation
Lineup (4-2-3-1)
Rooney/Chicharito · Kagawa/Welbeck · Nani/Young · Valencia/Young · Cleverley/Pogba/Scholes · Carrick · Evra/Clyne · Rafael/Jones · Vidic/Smalling · Ferdinand/Evans · De Gea/LindegaardYou have a 2 good goalkeepers, both very promising, 2 young RB's, reliable, 4 CBs, experienced/young, and 2 LB, experienced/young. In the mid, Carrick, we all know what he can do, with Cleverley/Scholes next to him (scholes is better, but Cleverley has a great touch with more stamina and he also likes to carry the ball forward). Then you have Valencia/Young/Nani(/Giggs) on the wings, all great, can run up and down the field all day long, capable of creating space for dangerous crosses into the box, if not going in there on there own. Then in between them, Kagawa, I think he is what Utd need, he can go on the wing, in mid, or even up front with Rooney, and Welbeck is there when you need him. Up front, you have Rooney, no need to say more, with Chicharito replacing him in the end when he starts getting tired or frustrated.
So as you can see, with a squad like this, you have great rotation and fights for 1st place positions. Plus you have 2 in the mid who can intercept balls, pass them back or front to start a counter-attack + you have the wingers who always run back to help the D, which makes the D very solid. I put 1 up front (although it didn't work in last season) because in this formation, you have 2 in the mid who can always keep the ball running and 1 infront of them, so with these 3 and the 2 on wings, you can have short passes, long passes passes from side to side or end to end, crosses from everywhere, thru balls, and pass and go's. Which gives you many options, unlike last year's "give the ball to Valencia" tactic...
Great formation in my opinion, and realistic. What do you think?
