Nani is a great winger especially on the counter. He can play this role effectively for Portugal. Rooney is effectively a Striker as he should be. Kagawa can link up the play whilst making burts into the box as an attacking midfielder should. Cleverly and Scholes are free to dictate play whilst Carrick solely cover them with Rio and Vidic behind. Evra and Valencia are used effectively as wingers as Carrick can cover along with Scholes.

Rooney can be swapped into Kagawas position leaving options for both Hernandez and welbeck upfront. Nani can be replaced with either striker.
