This would be my World XI. The 4-1-3-2 formation may seem risky especially as the only defensive midfielder is Xavi, who is not a tackling specialist, however the outstanding defensive qualities of Ashley Cole, Vidic and Sergio Ramos would be enough to stop the opposition I feel, backed up by the world class goalkeeping ability of the ever-improving Manuel Neuer.
