Lineup (3-4-3)

It is a 3-4-3 because thats the closest option i have to describe it.
really it is a 1-8-1, with 1 central defender, an entire midfield unit consisting of 2 wing backs, 1 cdm, 2 creative passers in the middle, 1 attacking mid and 2 wingers. and a single center forward.

the aim is to be the most perfectly balanced formation, if you have the right players to fit each position.
it naturally maintains intense possession and creates tonnes of chances.

this is my favourite formation in football manager. perfect players can make it a joy to watch. you need a quick, alert, strong central defender. a combative cdm, quick wingers who can tackle and pass well, two creative ball players in midfield. one nimble acm, two fast wingers, and a striker who can link up well. ofcourse everyone needs to have good passing stats.

you can also switch the 2 center mids for 2 box to box or 2 defensive mids, it can work very well, and a defensive, physical acm can help retain alot of possession.

if you want to try this formation in football manager, be sure to change your corner and free kick tactics. so that your cdm does what a cd would do in those situations.
