Chelsea Football Formation

Lineup (4-1-4-1)

This is what I think the Chelsea formation in the future should be. I am not a fan of Mikel and I hope that RDM will insert Essien when he returns from loan at R.Madrid. The back four is pretty simple, newly signed Azpilicueta eventually takes over at RB, the England duo of Cahill and Terry, with another England regular in Cole on the left. Essien stays home and plays in his favourable CDM position, allowing Lamps to be able to move up the field more freely. The trio of Hazard, Marin and Mata should be able to work some chemistry and all plays would go through them as they switch sides constantly, all feeding to Torres. If need be, Bertrand could play on the left to add some defensive stability, but the back four plus Essien is about as good as it gets.
