I would prefer to play with Kagawa behind the lone striker, in his natural number 10 position, but I heard that he can play left winger too. He wouldn't be an official winger, but more of a false winger that drifts into the center of the park, and might even rotate out with Rooney. Kagawa would have the freedom to play more centrally with Evra working up the line and putting in services too. Evra would still have to work back on defense, but having Carrick and Cleverly as Defensive Midfielders, especially Carrick who would sit deeper, could help Evra and Rafael out on defense if they get caught up the field on the attack. Jones would be a suitable replacement for Carrick in the formation as a deep-sitting, ball-winning DM. Valencia would still work as a right winger, beating his man down the line and whipping in a cross. Rooney (or Kagawa) would sit in behind RVP with the other makings runs off of the striker. I think the formation would work well against most Premier League teams, but then again Kagawa isn't in his favored position and against European competition we might need more help in the midfield.
