Arsenal need a new, powerful, ball carrying midfielder much like Diaby but without all of the lost days on the treatment table. Arteta continues as the metronome, Wilshere and Sissoko do the box to box running while the fullbacks can get forward in support as well. Cazorla has free reign basically, and I would be ok with replacing the Ox and/or Giroud with some flavour of the month transfer rumour player that probably won't come in January, just to make the starting 11 that much stronger. But as you can see, the bulk of the starting lineup is already in place and would not take significant investment (until the TV deal money shows up anyway). In the meantime, Arsenal should spend their transfer dollars to acquire quality depth (future prospect or established rotational player) while axing the dead weight more than anything.
