The brilliant team playing in a W-M (3-2-2-3) instead of their usual "the diagonal" formation, brushed aside every opponent in dominant style, had an amazing collection of individual talents - most notably Zizinho and Ademir. They were cruelly beaten in front of their own fans in an overcrowded Maracana in the all important final by Uruguay who refused to bog down in front of Brazilian brilliance.
