Liverpool Football Formation
Lineup (4-2-3-1)
Casillas · Maicon · Evra · T.Silva · Vidic · Y.Toure · Gerrard · D.Silva · Di Maria · Bale · MessiThe 4-2-3-1 formation came from Spain in the 1990s and early 2000s and is now used by many teams throughout the world.
The two players in front of the back-four, give support to the defense, with one player breaking up opposition attacks, and the other putting more emphasis on distributing the ball to the attacking players.
The formation should ensure teams are not out-numbered in midfield, and with so many advanced players, there is great flexibility.
Casillas - Been one of the top keepers of the pat 10 years and has still got is.
Maicon/Evra - Two ful backs with both experiance, and the abillity to controle the back four, darting in to start counters when told at any given moment.
T.Silva/Vidic - More experience in defence and these tough lads will cause any forward problems.
Y.Toure/Gerrard - Yaya will charge forward with power and pace, whilst Stevie playes long ball and takes classic freekicks, generally keeping the whole team involved.
D.Silva - A great example of and attacking midfielder, speed, acuracy and a killer one touch shot. A true Spaniard
Bale/ Di Maria - Young, quick, and agile. The three key things for a winger and they tick all the boxes.
Messi - Ballon d'Or four times winner, master on the ball, the next Maradona(minus the hand of glory).
