Fletcher can drop back in defense to create an impression of a 3 men centreback or he can stay up to create a diamond with Anderson, Park and Rooney( who also drop back from striker), as Rooney drop back, Nani and Valencia will cut in from the wings. Or Rooney may play as lone striker or false nines with Valencia and Nani, Valencia crossing to Rooney is also profitable as seen from last season.
